BELFAST – The Board of Directors of Cornerspring Montessori School in Belfast announces that Haley Norris has completed her preparation as a Montessori teacher and has received her Montessori Elementary I diploma.
Norris holds a BA in Linguistics and Spanish with a Minor in Education from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She joined the Cornerspring teaching staff in January 2017 as an assistant teacher. In September 2019, Norris became the head teacher of the lower elementary class and guides 20 students in their Montessori education this school year.
Over the past two years, Norris has completed 760 hours of Montessori teacher training and 1,000 hours of classroom practice. His courses included in-depth studies in the teaching of mathematics, language arts, and science.
“Norris’ credentials are proof of her many hours of dedication to her personal and professional growth, as well as her commitment to serving children,” Cornerspring said in a press release.
