Kanye West has slammed Gap for allegedly copying his designs from the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection.

Ye also alleged that the fashion group excluded him from crucial meetings.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote “Gap held a meeting on me without me?”

The post included screenshots of a message with someone, accusing Gap of copying their collection onto a standard shirt.

In the post, he pointed out that Gap had canceled a photo shoot with his children.

“But they canceled the photoshoot with my kids in Japan without me knowing about it,” he added.

Since its release, the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection has received its fair share of criticism.

Recall that last August, a viral publication showed that the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection was sold in trash bags.

The tweet read, “This is how they sell Yeezy GAP.”

“The seller said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and that’s how he wanted it. They won’t help you find your size either, you don’t just have to search everything.

West, who has repeatedly said he was inspired by homelessness, defended his decision, saying, “I’m an innovator and I’m not here to sit around and apologize for my ideas. That’s exactly what the media is trying to do: ask us to apologize for any ideas that aren’t exactly how they want us to think.

He also clarified that the “garbage bags” were actually large construction bags.

“It’s not a joke, it’s not a game, it’s not just a celebrity collaboration…it’s my life,” Ye said.

“I’m fighting for a job so I can change clothes and bring the best design to people,” he continued.
