FROM food and entertainment to the dreamy dress, there’s no denying that weddings can be very Dear.
So it’s no surprise that many people try to cut costs by putting their DIY skills to good use.
But there are cases where it really should be left to the professionals…
A bride-to-be has left social media users horrified after a photo of her wedding food being prepared was shared on Reddit alongside a caption that read, “Day 3 of wedding food prep…30 pounds of pasta salad ✔ (Yes, that’s an inflatable pool).”
The huge feast includes pasta mixed with everything from olives, cherry tomatoes, salami and cheese.
But while nothing sounds out of the ordinary, many have reported a huge problem – so can you spot it?
The major problem is that it was prepared in a giant inflatable paddling pool for children, which raises concerns for the health of its guests.
“If I was invited to this wedding, I would definitely bring my own sandwich from home after this horrible catering glimpse,” one wrote.

A second commented: ‘All I can keep thinking about is pasta getting stuck under the inner ‘folds’! sides of the pool. (chills).”
A third writes: “I don’t even want to know what the dishes are served in.”
Meanwhile, another pointed out: “How long will he be in this [pool]?? Pasta can kill you once it grows bacteria! Never eat old pasta!”
Another warned: “Day 3… so probably the wedding is still a few days away.
“They will literally kill guests with an unrefrigerated pasta salad. Bacillus cereus is no joke!”
And they have a valid point because bacillus cereus is a bacteria often found in soil, food and sea sponges – and is the common toxin that causes food poisoning.
Although deaths from the bacteria are rare, experts advise against eating pasta or rice that is several days old.
